Pricefie Privacy Policy

Introduction

Asprise Technologies ("us", "we", or "our") operates the website and the Pricefie mobile application (the "Service").

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information We Collect
We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so — for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better.
We collect this information from two sources below:
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information that you provide to us directly. Here are some examples:
  • Basic account information: When you interact with our services, we collect information that you provide to us. For example, many of our services require you to set up an account, so we may need to collect a few important details about you, such as your name, email address and the city or region of the country you live in. We may also ask you to provide us with some additional information that will be publicly visible on our services, such as a profile picture.
  • Content information: You also provide us whatever information you send through our services. Keep in mind that the users who view your posts, messages and any other content can always save that content or copy it outside the app. So, the same common sense that applies to the internet at large applies to our services as well: Do not send messages or share content that you wouldn't want someone to save or share. As for the retention of content information on our server, see How Long We Keep Your Information further below.
  • Payment and contact information: If you buy something or subscribe to our Services, we’ll collect information to process those payments and contact you. This will include your name, credit card, and contact information. We keep a record of the purchases you’ve made.
  • Communication with us: When you contact customer support or communicate with us in any other way, we’ll collect whatever information you volunteer or that we need to resolve your question.

We also collect select information we get when you use our services:
How We Use Information
Purposes for Using Information
We use information about you for the purposes listed below:
How We Share Information
We may share information about you in the following ways:-

How Long We Keep Your Information

We will retain your Personal Information and other information for as long as you maintain your Pricefie account

We generally discard information about you when it’s no longer needed for the purposes for which we collect and use it — described in the section above on How We Use Information — and we’re not legally required to keep it. For example, we keep the posts and messsages you post to your friends or groups for approximately 30 days, allowing a reasonable time for the recipients of the content you have posted to download or browse it. City posts, which is publicly viewable, have a variable retention and visibility period on the server. The retention periods of these posts depend on factors such as the section in which the post is published and the listing type of the post.

We also keep the web server logs that record information about a visitor to one of Pricefie's websites or API backend, like the visitor’s IP address, browser type, and operating system. We retain the logs for a period of time in order to, among other things, analyze traffic and investigate issues if something goes wrong on one of our websites. Deleted content may remain on our backups and caches until purged.

We may also retain certain information if necessary for purposes of safety, security, and fraud prevention. For example, if we deactivate a user’s account because of unsafe behavior or security incidents, we may retain certain information about that account to prevent that user from opening a new Pricefie account in the future.
